Confirming its industry-leading status as a payments innovator, Saxo Payments has been shortlisted in ten categories in upcoming payments sector awards due to be announced in October 2016.

The Payments Awards recognise cards and payments excellence and innovation – and are organised by FStech and Retail Systems. Categories for which Saxo Payments has been shortlisted are: Most Disruptive Payments Technology, Payments Startup of the Year, Best International Money Transfer Solution, B2B Payments Innovation of the Year and Marketing Campaign of the Year.

The Emerging Payments Awards are the UK industry’s most prestigious awards. Building on the prestige and success of the Prepaid Awards that have judged and celebrated the best people, programmes and innovations in the global payment’s industry since 2006, the 9th annual Emerging Payments Awards are expected to be the biggest and best awards yet.

Saxo Payments is a finalist in the following categories: Best New Back Office Innovation, Emerging Payments Marketing Campaign of the Year, Best Service Organisation supporting the Payments Industry and Leading Start-Up. In addition, the company’s Chief Executive Officer Anders la Cour is nominated for Emerging Payments Entrepreneur of the Year.

These two prestigious Award ceremonies are influential throughout the payments industry, and recognise the best companies and initiatives from across the market”, said Anders la Cour, Chief Executive Officer of Saxo Payments.   “We are extremely proud to be finalists in so many categories for both Awards, recognising the hard work our team has put in to make Saxo Payments and the Saxo Payments Banking Circle such a success.

The Banking Circle is our web-based banking platform, which is shaking up the current landscape for businesses trading on a global scale.
