Riyad Bank Launches Google Pay Service for Its Customers Enabled by the National Payments Network “Mada”
Riyad Bank has announced the launch of its digital wallet service “Google Pay,” enabled by the Saudi Central Bank through the national payments network “mada.” This service is targeting users of the Android operating system.
The bank noted that the service will be gradually made available to its customers, with full rollout to all Android users expected in the near future.
This digital wallet service joins a suite of digital solutions provided by the bank to its customers, aiming to offer the simplest methods for completing purchases. Through Google Wallet, Riyad Bank customers will be able to add all types of their Riyad Bank cards to Google Wallet and make payments via point-of-sale (POS) devices that support Near Field Communication (NFC) technology.
