Filecoin is among the most pricey coins added, coming in at £ 110.42 per coin, while Cardano is the least expensive, currently being at £0.88 per coin.
Revolut announced this with a statement: “2021! Revolut’s year of crypto. A whole year to bring you new features, new tokens, and a few other surprises along the way. You asked for new tokens, we’ve delivered. We’ve been tracking hot tokens and top movers to bring our UK and EU customers 11 new cryptocurrencies.”
Revolut also assures its customer with the security of their crypto purchases. The company holds crypto offline to prevent hacking and keep their customers crypto safe. The majority of Revolut’s crypto funds are being held in cold storage with some of the best custodians in the crypto game.
External hard drives used for cold storage are disconnected from any networks when crypto transactions aren’t happening, so they’re very resistant to hacking.
Just recently, Revolut has submitted an application for a banking license to the U.K. Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

The company has transitionted to cryptocurrencies after the pandemic took over the world last year and the most important Revolut’s premium travelling perks became useless.
Telegraph reported, Revolut’s banking ” super-app” grew more quickly in 2020 in terms of total app downloads than its rivals, and the competition between the UK’s challenger banks intensified.
Revolut’s app was downloaded 5.8 million times last year, according to data provided by Sensor Tower.
