Revolut acquires team from Wanted
Revolut has acquired a team from the talent sourcing marketplace Wanted.
However, the financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Wanted was founded by Balazs Alexa, Guillaume Breux, Mario Eguiluz, Jean Meyer and Eva Peris in 2019.
The deal brings them to the service of Revolut.
Wanted describes itself as a “Headhunting as a Service” platform that helps bring down the cost of hiring top talent.

Wanted has raised $2 million in pre-seed funding and amassed a 100,000 user base.
“We are very excited to join Revolut, a company that is leading the fintech revolution. We have all been loyal Revolut users for years and we now have the opportunity to contribute to a product we love and use on a daily basis.” said Jean Meyer, founder and CEO of Wanted.
Revolut co-founder and CEO, Nik Storonsky, said: “The Wanted team’s talented entrepreneurs and engineers can help us accelerate our growth goals as we continue to develop new products and services. We are looking forward to their joining the Revolut team.”

This comes after Ronald Oliveira, Revolut’s US CEO, is reportedly leaving the digital banking service according to a report from The Block.
Revolut appointed Oliveira to the role of US CEO back in March 2020 ahead of the launch of its American operations and just a hair before the world went into lockdown.
