QNB Indonesia Launches Mobile Banking App

Jakarta. Bank QNB Indonesia, the local arm of Doha-based QNB Group, launched a mobile banking application called DooEt+ for its customers on Thursday (24/11), offering a simple, swift and secure digital banking experience.

The app has basic features that enable customers to check their balance, pay bills, top up phone credit, and transfer funds. It also introduces a virtual account feature for QNB Indonesia customers.

“DooEt+ application offers benefits because customers can move its fund between their savings account to a virtual account at any time,” R. Andi Kartiko Utomo, Bank QNB Indonesia head of e-banking and non-traditional channels, said in a statement.

Customers can use their mobile phone numbers, which are easier to remember, for QNB Indonesia’s virtual accounts that link to their savings accounts.

A virtual account lets customers pay at partner merchants with ease just by scanning a QR Code from the app.

The app also allows customers to buy tickets or make reservations on budget carrier Citilink Indonesia and state-run railway Kereta Api Indonesia. Ticket purchases include free personal accident insurance from FWD Life.

“FWD Life and Bank QNB Indonesia have the same vision to develop faster, easier and more comfortable financial services,” FWD Life chief of partnership distribution Anggi Sangadi said
