Plug and Play Joins OpenLegacy Advisory Board to Help Established Companies Accelerate Digital Transformation
OpenLegacy, which accelerates digital transformation of on-prem and legacy systems with microservices-based APIs, and Plug and Play, known for bringing together the best startups with the world’s largest corporations, have joined forces to help global enterprises leverage legacy technology for game-changing innovation.
By taking a seat on the OpenLegacy board of advisors, Plug and Play, the global innovation platform, and OpenLegacy strengthen their partnership, better aligning the organizations and reinforcing synergies.
“OpenLegacy exemplifies the startup disruptive technologies and innovation our clients seek,” said Cedric Vallee, Ventures Director. “They’re literally the connector between old and new technologies, which creates vast opportunities for everyone within our ecosystem — our portfolio companies, VCs, and the world’s leading global enterprises.”
Two of Plug and Play largest corporate partners, BNP Paribas and Cardif, demonstrated the vast importance of OpenLegacy’s technology recently by becoming investors and embarking on commercial engagements.
OpenLegacy hybrid integration platform lets complex, monolithic systems be extended and leveraged for modern digital channels. Organizations can quickly launch digital innovations byautomating and standardizing the process of creating digital services using microservices-based APIs. With OpenLegacy, legacy systems can be integrated, leveraged, and extended in a fraction of the time to the latest digital innovations, all without changing the underlying systems.
OpenLegacy, a disruptive start-up, was founded by Romi Stein (CEO) and Roi Mor (CTO), whose many years of experience at major tech companies like IBM and Software AG have resulted in deep understanding of the digital transformation issues faced by large enterprises. This makes OpenLegacy the perfect bridge for Plug and Play companies to understand and resolve issues facing traditional companies.
“Plug and Play is an ideal partner for us,” says Zeev Avidan, Chief Product Officer at OpenLegacy. “By joining forces, we’ll be able to more quickly allow existing enterprises to integrate the latest technologies by leveraging our cutting-edge tech.”
