Payworks extends partnership with Lightspeed providing integrated payments to merchants across Belgium
Payworks, a leading provider of Point of Sale payment infrastructure, and Lightspeed, a global Point of Sale Software company, have added integrated payments connectivity via Payworks’ Pulse platform for merchants in Belgium.
Payworks and Lightspeed have extended their partnership with the addition of market coverage in Europe with the addition of Belgium. Merchants across the United Kingdom and now Belgium have access to integrated payments through Payworks’ technology via Lightspeed’s POS Software.
The all-in-one POS solution is distributed through a local bank, BNP Paribas Fortis, which sells it as a bundle to their clients. As part of this agreement, Lightspeed will also procure terminal hardware directly from Payworks. “Payworks enables us to quickly and easily add new market coverage, so we can now support merchants in Belgium with our POS solution and integrated payments,” says Joost Brugmans, Director of Partnerships EMEA at Lightspeed. “Having the ability to also use a variety of local channel partners like BNP Paribas Fortis in Belgium
is a great bonus”.
The Payworks Pulse platform allows POS Solution providers and their channel partners to offer integrated payments to complement their core products. This allows POS Solution providers to fulfill merchants’ demand for integrated payment systems and enhance their POS offering.
“We’re thrilled to be able to support even more Lightspeed merchants with our payment technology”, says Christian Deger, CEO and Co-Founder at Payworks. “The speed of innovation at the Point of Sale continues to accelerate and we are ensuring our clients and partners are able to keep up with growing merchant needs through integration technology and seamless global connectivity
