Payworks Achieves Bambora Certification Growing their Payment Gateway Connectivity
Payworks announced today their new certification with Bambora, the Swedish payments-service company.
Payworks has expanded connectivity in the Nordic region with certification from Bambora. The Swedish payments-service company offers its clients a single platform which accepts both e-commerce and physical transactions. Through Payworks, they will have access to the latest payment gateway technology and infrastructure enabling them to support their 110,000 clients with card acceptance even further.
“We provide our clients with easy solutions which empower them to accept payments quickly in order to help keep their businesses moving forward,” says Daniel Nordholm, CTO of Bambora. “Adding Payworks’ payment technology gives our clients and vendors access to the growing demand of modern payment technologies, which is a necessity for business owners in the region.”
Payworks’ cloud-based payment gateway allows for simple and quick integration of payment acceptance into any Point of Sale solution. Going beyond standard card acceptance including EMV Chip + PIN and contactless, implementing the next generation gateway technology from Payworks also grants mobile wallet transactions such as Apple Pay, which has just expanded into the Nordic region. With this new certification, Independent Software Vendors connected to Bambora can easily implement Payworks’ technology transforming their Point of Sale solutions into integrated systems.
“We have been increasingly successful in the Nordic region, where card acceptance is a standard,” says Christian Deger, CEO & Co-Founder of Payworks. “With Bambora, our partners and clients have a very technology driven, agile and flexible Acquirer to work with. We are excited about this new partnership.”
