Valor PayTech Welcomes Tom Pojero as Executive Vice President

Valor PayTech, is excited to announce the appointment of Tom Pojero as its new Executive Vice President. Tom brings more than three decades of experience in the payments and financial services industries, having held senior leadership roles at globally recognized organizations including Visa, Worldpay, and American Express.

In his new role, Tom will leverage his extensive expertise to drive strategic growth, build valuable partnerships, and enhance Valor’s suite of payment solutions for ISOs, ISVs, and merchants. His focus will be on expanding Valor’s market presence and solidifying its position as a transformative force in the payments industry.

Tom’s career highlights include serving as Vice President at Visa, where he lead the Regional Acquiring business, and as President at Worldpay, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s footprint in the payments industry. Prior to that, Tom spent over 30 years at American Express in various senior leadership roles, including Senior Vice President/General Manager of Merchant Acquisition and Optimization. During his tenure, he oversaw the development and launch of the OptBlue acquiring program as well as led teams responsible for acquiring, managing, and growing merchant relationships, contributing significantly to the company’s revenue and client success.
