Enercare Chooses Stripe as Its Strategic Payments Partner

Stripe, a financial infrastructure platform for businesses, has announced that it has been selected by Canadian home and commercial services leader, Enercare, to power its online payments experience.

As one of Canada’s largest home services providers, Enercare provides heating, cooling, water heating, plumbing, electrical, and water purification products and services to customers across Canada. By integrating with Stripe, Enercare will expand its payment options, simplify its payments stack, and provide a more seamless payment experience for its customers.

“We are always looking at new ways to elevate the customer experience at Enercare. This relationship with Stripe allows us to do just that,” said Victoria Tan, chief customer officer at Enercare. “Stripe’s modern API and user-friendly documentation allowed us to easily integrate our systems and stay on track with the timelines needed to make these enhanced functionalities available to our customers.”

With Stripe, Enercare will be offering its customers a variety of flexible online payment options. Each transaction will also be protected by Stripe Radar, which uses machine learning to detect and block fraudulent transactions.

“Enercare has been providing foundational services to Canadian homeowners for more than 65 years. We’re proud to provide a reliable payment experience for their customers, exceeding 99.999% availability, that is consistent with the level of quality Enercare customers expect,” said Matthew Burlak, head of Canada GTM at Stripe.
