Apple Pay Express Checkout Now Available for Merchants via Exactly.com

Exactly.com, a payment provider and direct card acquirer, is introducing Apple Pay Express Checkout functionality. This enhancement enables customers to complete purchases directly from a product page with a single tap — no need to add items to a cart or fill out lengthy forms.

With over 60% of consumers abandoning their baskets after adding products, the launch reflects growing demand for faster, more secure digital payments. According to The Payment Association, mobile wallets have reached near-universal adoption in the UK, with 90% of businesses now offering Apple Pay and Google Pay. Meanwhile, 51% of UK merchants report frequent usage of both cards and mobile wallets, marking a point of digital parity between traditional and emerging payment methods.

By enabling Express Checkout, customer journeys become shorter, safer, and more reliable. With Apple Pay Express Checkout, purchases can be completed in a single tap or click, bypassing traditional checkout forms. Biometric authentication and stored card details remove manual entry, cutting checkout time and reducing one of the most common friction points in online sales.

Mark Andreev, COO at Exactly.com, comments:

“Checkout friction is costly: delays or extra fields often mean lost sales. With Apple Pay Express Checkout, we give UK businesses a faster route to completion, keeping more customers engaged to the end. At Exactly.com, we remain focused on supporting businesses with solutions that balance efficiency with cost control. Adding Apple Pay Express Checkout is another step in ensuring our merchants can scale smoothly across the UK, EU, and beyond and get more from their existing customer base.”
