Paysafe wins Payment Solution of the Year at Global Gaming Awards

Paysafe has been awarded with the accolade of Payment Solution of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards London 2018 during a VIP, invite-only ceremony in the heart of the capital last night.

Presented by BetConstruct CEO and Co-Founder, Vigen Badalyan, this prestigious award recognises the important role payment companies play in delivering a seamless customer experience, be it in the land-based arena or online in the last year.

Commenting on the award, Paysafe’s CEO of Digital Wallets & Income Access, Lorenzo Pellegrino, said: “At Paysafe, we understand how to help gaming operators stay ahead of the curve, anticipate new customer needs and leverage new technologies to enhance the overall experience for gamers, and seeing our efforts recognised by industry peers is a great honour.

Over the last 12 months, we’ve really worked hard to keep setting the pace in the rapidly changing payments space, and it goes without saying that the support of our operators, partners and teams are key to the success of our business.

The Global Gaming Awards are judged by a panel of 50 industry leading experts, who vote on the 185 final nominees across 16 categories, with each vote being independently adjudicated by KPMG.  Paysafe fought off stiff competition from nine other payment providers who were shortlisted.

Hosted by Gambling Insider at the iconic Hippodrome Casino, the London branch of the awards seeks to shine a light on new and exciting sectors of the dynamic and fast-growing gaming industry, acknowledging leaders in other areas that have not been represented before at past GGA events.
