Paypal And Vodafone Team up to Let European Customers Make in-Store Payments

PayPal and Vodafone have announced a partnership enabling customers to make contactless payments with Android smartphones. It means that millions of PayPal customers will be able to use their phones, enabled with Vodafone NFC SIMs, to pay via Vodafone Wallet for goods and services at the point of sale, and all without unlocking their phones.

The announcement represents the extension of Vodafone Wallet beyond MasterCard and Visa customers, offering PayPal users the opportunity to expand their payment options.

Further details on market launches across Europe will be announced at Mobile World Congress in late February.
