myRemit introduces WorldRemit to its customer network
The world’s leading digital money transfer company, WorldRemit, was introduced recently to thousands of customers of myRemit, a Kapamilya service of The Filipino Channel (TFC).
WorldRemit was introduced to customers of myRemit in the U.S., Canada and U.K. as the latter winds down its business operations and closes shop effective June 16, 2018.
WorldRemit is one of the world’s fastest growing online money transfer providers. WorldRemit has been transferring money to the Philippines since it launched in 2010 and has a dedicated customer service centre in Cebu to help customers every step of the way.
The introduction to myRemit’s customer network supports WorldRemit’s strategic plan to serve 10 million customers connected to emerging markets by 2020. The Philippines is the largest receive market for WorldRemit.
Ismail Ahmed, founder and CEO at WorldRemit said: “We are honoured to be trusted by myRemit to offer our first-class remittance service to their customers. This will further strengthen our position in the Philippine market as a leading provider of safe, fast and lower-cost money transfers.”
