Moneycorp expands European footprint with launch of Moneycorp France

Moneycorp – a leading global payments services provider – has today announced its launch in France as part of its rapidly expanding European business.

Headquartered in Paris and headed up by Cyril Léger, Moneycorp France will provide integrated payment solutions to corporate clients, including financial institutions, banks and businesses. Cyril has 20 years of experience in the French market, working in treasury and FX for both fintechs and banks. Launching with a team of six, Moneycorp France has ambitions to quadruple its headcount in the coming year.

Moneycorp France’s proposition includes a full suite of payment and foreign exchange solutions specifically designed to support the needs of small and medium sized enterprises. The arrival of a French address also means that the global foreign exchange and payments operator can provide French companies with a genuine alternative to their legacy banks and providers, offering superior service, smart technology, and competitive pricing.

Bryan McSharry, CEO of Moneycorp Technologies Limited, says: “Moneycorp is strongly positioned for sustainable growth, and we’re very pleased to be expanding our physical presence in Europe with the opening of our French branch. Our platform offers French companies robust and secure payment solutions, alongside a dedication to personal service that Moneycorp has pride itself on for over 40 years.”

Cyril Léger, CEO of Moneycorp France, says “Moneycorp is a leader in the payments services industry, and I am thrilled to be leading the new France team here in Paris. Our clients will benefit from the dependable service and cutting-edge technology that Moneycorp is known for – and we look forward to expanding our team over the coming years.”

Koen Vanpraet, CEO EMEA Moneycorp says: “We are pleased that following our recent successful financial results, we are officially opening our doors in France. France is our sixth office in Europe, the Middle East and Africa region, which also includes the UK, Ireland, Spain, Romania and Dubai. This is a key milestone that exemplifies our ambitious growth plans in Europe and in the fintech payments space, and we look forward to furthering our success with the launch of Moneycorp France.”
