MoneeMint appoints Brett King to the MoneeMint Board
MoneeMint is pleased to announce that we have appointed Brett King to the Board of Directors as a Non-Executive Director.
Brett King is a global bestselling author, futurist, the host of the #1 Fintech podcast in the world “Breaking Banks” and the #1 Futurist podcast “The Futurists”, as well as being the founder of the BAAS and Neo-Banking startup “Moven”. King was voted as American Banker’s Innovator of the Year in 2012, and was named the “Godfather of Fintech” by the Australian newspaper, and the “King of Disruptors” by Banking Exchange magazine. His book BANK 4.0 was awarded the best foreign non-fiction book in 2019 by PwC (Russia), and President Xi cited his book Augmented: Life in the Smart Lane in his 2018 national address. His latest book is The Rise of Technosocialism. He also advised the Obama administration on Fintech policy.
King has been featured on Fox News, CNBC, Bloomberg, BBC, Financial Times, Economist, ABA Journal, Bank Technology News, Asian Banker Journal, The Banker, and Wired magazine.

ECB Taps G+D Partnership for Digital Euro Resilience
Advancing the preparation of a digital euro, the European Central Bank (ECB) has announced the conclusion of the framework agreements for each of the five digital euro negotiated procurement procedures (also see the notice view in the Official Journal of the EU). A cooperation between Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) partnering with Nexi and Capgemini has now been selected as the first ranked tenderer in the framework agreement to provide an end-to-end solution to make digital euro payments offline available to users and merchants across Europe. The ability to pay offline, with no third-party involvement, is a key feature of the digital euro, which would ensure privacy and resilience as only cash does today.
