Lunar Launches All-In-One Corporate Card With Spend Management

Nordic challenger bank Lunar now targets growing SME’s with the launch of its new corporate cards specially designed to help entrepreneurs and businesses to automate and simplify spending.

The new product merges the existing business banking product with greater spend management functionality. The corporate card is built to ensure that entrepreneurs only need one app to manage all finances for their business.

Ken Villum Klausen, founder and CEO of Lunar, said:

  • There is a real problem in expense and payments management that we as an account issuer can help to solve. We have a banking license that makes it possible for us to provide an all-in-one solution for smaller businesses with high levels of security.

  • We let business owners give their team members individual corporate cards and give them full control in our app-based dashboard

The new offering also makes online purchases easier for team members with two-factor authentication directly in the Lunar app.

Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) has since the beginning of 2021 required online payments to be confirmed by the cardholder using two-factor authentication. By integrating authentication in the Lunar app users can approve the payment and manage the spend immediately.
