Linedata organizes a digital innovation day for INSEAD and the CIMB Bank
Linedata (Euronext Paris: LIN) organizes as part of an INSEAD Executive Leadership program a day dedicated to digital innovation for a senior management delegation of CIMB Bank, a leading Malaysia-headquartered ASEAN universal bank operating in 16 countries. Through this new initiative, in collaboration with numerous startups, Linedata showcases the French digital ecosystem and one of the most prestigious business schools globally.
Since 2018, Linedata and INSEAD have established a strong collaboration by connecting major financial institutions and banking groups with French startups. In August 2018, Linedata hosted a delegation from China Construction Bank, one of the world’s top five banks, as part of their participation in an INSEAD Executive Development program.
INSEAD Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Family Enterprise Jason Davis moderates the digital innovation day hosted by Linedata’s Head of Innovation Sophie Fevrier and AGALIO’s CEO Jean-Michel Moslonka. CIMB Bank Executive Leadership programme participants will learn from and exchange views with startups from the Paris ecosystem space and with Linedata teams around four key themes: the financial technologies, the digitalization of User Experience, the creation of new digital and innovative business models and the concept of happiness at work reinvented with digital technology.
Jason Davis states that, “INSEAD’s executive education programs aim to integrate real world business learnings as part of its robust and rigorous curriculum. Large enterprises and start-ups can learn a lot from each other in terms of digital transformation and innovation in big companies and start-up strategies in digital ecosystems. The digital innovation day will facilitate a unique exchange of innovative ideas and discussions enabling both parties to glean the best from each organisation and allow them to translate that knowledge into strategies to compete in today’s dynamic market.”
CIMB Group’s Chief People Officer Dato’ Hamidah Naziadin says, “Our long-standing partnership with INSEAD and its collaborators like Linedata has helped us develop leaders who are both forward-looking and passionate about making a meaningful difference to our stakeholders. This time, we are pleased to have a robust executive leadership curriculum that nurtures both critical and digital thinking in our people. This is crucial to help CIMB embrace opportunities afforded by, among others, platform and sharing economies that increasingly characterise the way business is done in the 4IR era.”
“This meeting program is an important part of our innovation strategy, in addition to the creation of our network of labs and development of our technologies and working methods”, comments Sophie Février. “We are very happy to share our passion for innovation with leading companies like CIMB, and enjoy working together to inspire leaders and stimulate each other’s creativity”.
