LexisNexis Risk Solutions wins ‘Best Enabling Tech Company’ at the Fintech Awards Wales

LexisNexis® Risk Solutions, the global information solutions provider which has its largest UK operations centre in Cardiff Bay, was recently named ‘Best Enabling Tech Company’ for its work with local fintechs at the inaugural Fintech Awards Wales on Friday 19th July. 

The awards recognise true innovators who are driving the fintech industry in Wales, and companies who are playing a key role in positioning the region as a key fintech hub in the UK. The ‘Best Enabling Tech Company’ category recognises organisations whose principal business is not financial technology, but through their services enable fintech companies to succeed.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions received the award for its work with a number of regional fintechs, providing core data services to manage risks posed by consumers and businesses, enabling them to verify identity, prevent fraud and support their compliance with anti-money laundering regulations. The company works with several fintechs across Wales, including identity verification provider Credas and online investment service Wealthify.

These awards come at a pivotal time for fintech in the region, with the recent creation of FinTech Wales, an independent membership association set to champion fintech and the wider financial services sector.
