Lemon Way Launches a Solution to Rival Stripe
After conquering the complex payment market (crowdfunding platforms and marketplaces), Lemon Way, the number one French FinTech, is going after the e-commerce market with the help of Google and Prestashop.
Lemon Way has just launched a dedicated payment solution for e-commerce sites in 7 European countries (France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Benelux). In less than a month, more than 1,000 e-commerce businesses from 7 nationalities have joined the 11,000 businesses already served by Lemon Way.
Reasons for the success: automatisation, speed, competitive pricing and a dedicated team
The innovation comes from the automatisation of the client enrolment process a month ago. Clients can now sign up in just a few clicks, 24 hours a day, weekends included. This self-service allows clients to receive their first payments in less than five minutes following the creation of their account. The other advantage desired by e-commerce business owners is the competitive pricing: an average of 1% commission is taken on the flows collected based on the turnover. Additionally, the initiative is being managed by a dedicated team at Lemon Way, led by Thomas Roche, the e-commerce Manager.
Lemon Way helped by Google and Prestashop to catch up with Stripe in the Euro zone
After perfecting the complex payments of the new economy, Lemon Way aims to facilitate simple payments for hundreds of thousands of e-commerce sites in Europe. To achieve this, Lemon Way has called on Google who will welcome the company in their accelerator and provide new artificial intelligence solutions to optimiser their recruitment campaigns. Prestashop, leading marketplace for e-commerce sites in Europe, will also promote the new payment solution.
If the current rate of recruitment continues, 40,000 e-commerce sites should be equipped with the French payment solution by the end of 2017. Lemon Way is a partner of the banks BNP Paribas, CM CIC, Banco Sabadell and Barclays, which contributes to the success of the number one French Fintech in Europe.
