KPMG and Dell Boomi Help Clients Integrate Multi-cloud and Hybrid IT Environments
KPMG LLP and Dell Boomi (Boomi) announced an alliance to help clients replace outdated IT infrastructure with integrated and optimized multi-cloud and hybrid IT environments, connecting everything to achieve business agility, data-driven decision-making and enhanced customer focus.
A clear trend toward greater connectivity was identified in Boomi’s “The Connected Business: a survey report on business connectivity and the importance of integration,” which highlights the impact poor integration can have on organizations. In the report, 87 percent of respondents said they had experienced drawbacks from poor integration, including high costs, delays, and subpar efficiency and collaboration. Additionally, 74 percent of CIOs surveyed said successful integration will be crucial to remaining competitive over the next five years.
“While most companies are on a cloud transformation journey, they find that their current architectures cannot keep up with demand for speed, quality and high data volume,” says Jerry Iacouzzi, U.S. leader for KPMG’s Digital Enablement Network. “This alliance combines Boomi’s market-leading platform with KPMG’s cloud transformation and integration capabilities to provide clients with not just a technical solution, but a complete approach.”
KPMG and Dell Boomi Alliance
Boomi’s integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) is an enterprise-grade, unified, low code solution for companies that realize traditional on-premises approaches are no longer viable because they can’t react quickly enough to work with new data and application models like cloud, big data, and the Internet of Things.
“For businesses striving to drive digital transformation, a company’s legacy integration footprint can add complexity and risk to a cloud migration,” says David Tavolaro, vice president of global business development, Boomi. “The collaborative approach to modernizing application and data integration our alliance offers supports new data sources, while offering flexibility to quickly meet customer expectations and address virtually any integration scenario.”
KPMG developed its award-winning Cloud Integration Framework (CIF) using the Boomi platform to meet client needs for next-generation enterprise data management. The platform’s intuitive interface allows developers to build, deploy and manage from a central location, resulting in enhanced quality data and increased governance.
Additional features of KPMG’s CIF include a pre-built library of reusable assets, including integration use cases, data mapping, connection points, business rules and error handling, which simplifies and accelerates the integration of data and enterprise applications, eliminates custom coding and reduces costs and time to value.
Boomi recently recognized companies across the global partner ecosystem that have provided extraordinary value to customers. KPMG was awarded the 2017 Boomi Industry Solution Partner Award.
