Kensington Mortgages completes MortgageApply integration with Twenty7Tec

Kensington Mortgages (“Kensington”), the specialist mortgage lender, and Twenty7Tec, a leading provider of technology solutions to the mortgage industry, today announce that they have completed an integration using Twenty7Tec’s application submission system, MortgageApply.

Kensington joins other lenders adopting the system, further embedding leading technology into their mortgage application process. Users of MortgageApply will now be able to submit mortgage decision-in-principle applications to Kensington via API directly from within the system, without the need to re-key data onto the Kensington portal.

The integration will be rolled out initially to firms within Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB), before a full roll out to all Twenty7Tec MortgageApply users over the coming months. Kensington joins a number of other lenders currently live on MortgageApply, with a further 11 lenders expected to join the platform through 2019.

Mark Arnold, CEO Kensington Mortgages, commented: “At Kensington, we are always looking for ways to speed up the loan process and make it as easy as possible for brokers to work with us. This is particularly important in the specialist sector where applications are generally more complex, so we are delighted that with MortgageApply, our broker partners will now have a more simplified and streamlined journey based on cutting edge technology and expertise.”

James Tucker, CEO at Twenty7Tec commented: “Throughout our engagement with Kensington we have been hugely impressed by their determination to deliver a seamless integration to the benefit of our users, and their broker partners. Both respective technical teams have worked exceptionally hard to deliver a best of breed integration, and we look forward to working with Kensington as we roll this out to all of our users.”

Peter Brodnicki, CEO of Mortgage Advice Bureau, said: “We are extremely pleased to see a lender of the quality of Kensington Mortgages choosing to partner with MortgageApply. Using technology to significantly enhance the customer and broker experience is a priority for MAB, which is why we have backed Twenty7Tec’s plans for MortgageApply from the outset. We are delighted to see so many lenders planning their launches this year. The future has arrived, with many more exciting developments to come.”
