At the upcoming CFO Summit, Jacinth will take part in a keynote panel discussion on Women in Finance. In recent years, issues of diversity and inclusion have been in the spotlight across industries from the business world to Hollywood. And while the broader D&I challenge is something all functions of businesses must begin to tackle, the elephant in the room for finance is, and continues to be, the lack of women representation – both in leadership and across all tiers of the department.
In a traditionally male dominated field, what steps can CFOs make to start to empower and develop female talent? What inherent biases exist in the recruitment and hiring process? And most importantly, why should finance leaders look at lack of diversity as a business-critical issue? This session will bring together a group of top finance executives to discuss a topic that too often, leaders shy away from. Join us as we have an honest, straightforward discussion on how we can begin to make strides in the diversity and women in finance and why it is every leader’s responsibility to begin ensuring steps are made in theright direction.
