ING cooperates with Amazon to offer cashback for purchases via ING shopping platform “DealWise”

ING has today announced that it is cooperating with Amazon via its “DealWise” cashback service. Approximately 2.9 million ING current account holders can now benefit from 5% cashback on qualified Amazon orders in categories such as electronics & computers, Amazon devices, toys and clothing until 31st December.

The cashback amount and the categories are updated monthly, and are visible during the purchase process. The offer extends to the Amazon Marketplace, and applies to all new and existing Amazon customers. Books and vouchers, however, are excluded. In order to receive the reimbursement, ING customers will select “Cashback Service” in the internet banking or banking app and then go to Amazon via “DealWise”.

With “DealWise” customers can now choose from over 1,000 online shops, including Amazon. The saved cashback amount is automatically credited to the respective ING current account after the return period has expired.

“We are continuously working on offering our customers attractive services and features,” says Laura Wirtz, Lead for Daily Banking & Payments at ING Germany. “Thanks to these new collaborations, our customers save real money when shopping online via “DealWise” and benefit from services that go beyond traditional banking.”

More than 250,000 registered users

So far, the advantages have mainly been used by people between the ages of 24 and 40 who have enjoyed up to 15 percent cashback when shopping online. Around a third of “DealWise” customers have used these advantages more than once, with many using their ING current account as a salary account. With “DealWise”, ING clients recieve cashback offers from merchants Rewe, Lidl, OTTO, AliExpress and ABOUT YOU. Many customers appreciate and benefit from the fact that “DealWise” can be used to receive cashbacks in addition to the discount campaigns of many shops and with Black Friday on 26th November, many bargain-seekers will be able to save extra money.
