Inaugural FF Awards announced

We are very pleased to announce the inaugural FF Awards!

For the FF awards, we want to be clear – we simply want to see a WOW moment; something that makes people in the fintech industry get so excited about, something that they have to show to a friend not in the industry… and even they go “WOW!”

The entry format is a video, with a maximum run time of four minutes. Entrants need to show us enough information, need and solution, that a judge can give it a defined mark out of ten. It also makes it a lot easier for judges to absorb the information from each entry. There is no entry cost.

The winners will be determined, not by a jury but by public judges. Anyone with an interest in Fintech can apply to be a judge; and view the entries. However, every time a judge watches and views a video, the weight of their score increases, making the judges a sheer meritocracy; removing any specific agenda that could be dominated by strong personalities. Registration for judges will be opening soon.

The FF Team will have no bearing whatsoever on the results. Hell, even being a finalist is an absolute testament!

Entries must be received by 15th November at 12pm. Finalists will also be announced on the same day, with the the top three total scores and top two average scores in each category proceeding to the final.

All finalists will be given two free tickets to the awards ceremony. The Winner will be announced at the FF Awards Ceremony in Old Billingsgate on the 29th November 2021, being both broadcast online and in-person in front of a (Covid-dependant) crowd of 500.
