INATBA Names Global Blockchain Finance Expert to Board of Directors
The International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA) today welcomed Dr. Sven Hildebrandt to its board of directors. Hildebrandt was elected by the membership from among a slate of six excellent candidates representing INATBA’s “micro” member category.
As a member of the board, Hildebrandt said, he will use his finance background to focus on crypto assets and creating a unified European Market because “we must refrain from creating a regulatory patchwork in the different member states of Europe via diverging transposition laws.”
“Another key-issue of mine will of course focus on start-ups, as this is the group I am delighted to represent,” he said. “This includes, but is not limited to: Financing, Coaching and setting core principles for public tenders in this regard.”
Julie Maupin, chair of the INATBA board of directors and director of Social Impact & Public Regulatory Affairs at the IOTA Foundation, welcomed Hildebrandt to INATBA. “My colleagues and I are delighted that Sven will be joining our ranks,” she said. “We look forward to benefiting from his ideas, engagement, and expertise as we build this first-of-its-kind organization together.”
After earning a Ph.D. in economics, Hildebrandt served in different marketing agencies and management consultancies in the financial services sector. Before joining DLC, the specialized blockchain consultancy for semiprofessional and professional entities in the finance sector, he worked for Techniker Krankenkasse and HANSAINVEST – the asset administration company of SIGNAL IDUNA Gruppe. He is actively contributing in the International Standardisation Organisation (ISO) as well as DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung) and now adds to those accolades his position as a board member of the International Association of Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA).
