Identitii Wins Award for Best Workplace Diversity at The Finnies 2019

Identitii Limited (Identitii, Company) (ASX:ID8) the FinTech company enabling banks and corporates to securely exchange intelligent information in real-time, has won the award for Best Workplace Diversity at The Finnies, FinTech Australia’s annual awards program. The award recognises the FinTech’s that have created an inclusive environment that accepts each individual’s differences, embraces their strengths and provides opportunities for all staff to achieve their full potential.

When describing why Identitii won this award, Layla Bates, Head of People and Culture, Identitii said: “Diversity and inclusion has to be more than a box-ticking or quota-filling exercise for companies and it is at the top of our agenda at Identitii. We are incredibly proud of our team and of how we work together across what are traditionally seen as boundaries. We owe our identity to our people and it is because of them that we are so successful.”

Identitii ramped up its drive for intersectional workforce diversity in November 2018 and has made significant changes to talent acquisition, interviewing, remuneration, benefits and partnerships as a result. Cognitive, educational and ethnic diversity have all been instrumental in Identitii’s pursuit of a tangible impact on how the company approaches problem-solving and product development.

Commenting on the award win, Identitii CEO, Nick Armstrong, said:

“Since founding the company in 2014, our policy has been that ‘Diversity is in our DNA’ which means that at Identitii, inclusion and diversity are critical to creating an environment where we develop innovative solutions to real world problems for our customers. We strive to create an exceptional global environment for everyone through our policies, systems and culture and are thrilled to be recognised for this important aspect of our company.”
