Horizen Launches Flagship Application for Greater Accessibility to Core Services

Horizen, the privacy-oriented blockchain technology platform, has released Sphere by Horizen, a highly-secure cryptocurrency wallet with unique features, that give users even greater control over their sensitive data and transactional information. Sphere by Horizen incorporates unprecedented features in a cryptocurrency wallet, including secure messaging between users and the ability to toggle between light and full clients. The launch represents the next step in Horizen’s mission to promote usability, financial privacy, and secure communications around the world.

Available on desktop, Sphere by Horizen is the one of the few cryptocurrency wallets to let users switch between a full or light client or use a web client for sending, receiving, and storing ZEN. The wallet is designed to meet a variety of user preferences, offering options for enhanced control of data privacy and convenient, low-data peer-to-peer payments. Sphere by Horizen serves as the launching point for services that use ZEN for transparent and shielded transactions and integrates Horizen’s ZenChat application to enable private messaging between users. The wallet is also deterministic, meaning if a user loses their account, they can restore their cryptocurrency funds through a user-friendly process involving a unique 24-word phrase.
