Gatehouse Bank Names Depaul UK as Its Charity Partner for 2025
Gatehouse Bank has today announced that it will be supporting youth homelessness charity Depaul UK as its Charity of the Year for 2025.
Every year, colleagues across the Bank are invited to nominate and vote for the charity they would like to support. Colleagues are then encouraged to take part in fundraising activities in aid of the selected charity, whether individually, in groups, or as part of Bank-wide initiatives.
Gatehouse Bank offers its colleagues the opportunity to take two paid days of leave for fundraising or volunteering every year. These days can be used to support the Bank’s Charity of the Year or other causes close to their hearts.
Funds raised by the Bank over the next year will directly support initiatives such as providing emergency accommodation for those in need, long-term housing solutions and support programmes offering education, employment training and mental health support to empower young people to build a better future.
Charles Haresnape, CEO of Gatehouse Bank, commented: “We are excited to be partnering with Depaul UK, a charity doing incredible work to support young people experiencing homelessness.
“Our colleagues always go above and beyond to raise money for our chosen charity and I know that the year ahead will be no different. I’m looking forward to getting involved with the fundraising and volunteering efforts myself and seeing how much money we can raise for such a valuable cause.”
Sam Dunne, Head of Corporate and Regional Engagement at Depaul UK, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been chosen as Gatehouse Bank’s charity partner for 2025. Our work couldn’t happen without the incredible support of partners such as Gatehouse Bank and will contribute greatly to our mission to end homelessness and help those whose lives are affected by it. We can’t wait to work together this year.”
