F&P to Build on Strong Position in Market at AD and Biogas Exhibition
Peer-to-peer lending specialist, F&P Sponsors, is returning to the Anaerobic Digestion & Biogas and World Biogas Expo 2017, to be held between 5th – 6th July at the NEC, Birmingham, where it will highlight its strong track record in helping businesses to achieve funding.
The green-technology sector is one that F&P has been gaining considerable market position in, working to deliver funding to small businesses looking to install sustainable technologies or expand.
Anaerobic Digestion has played a significant factor in its work. The firm secured the funding for the initial capital and subsequent expansion of BioDynamic UK, which owns and operates an AD plant in Colwick, Nottinghamshire. Having previously been rejected for funding 25 times, it secured funding just two weeks after initially contacting F&P.
In supporting its work in the sector, F&P Sponsors has appointed Edward Williams, a former financier and specialist investor, who will have a focus on the green and clean technology sector.
He will be on stand at the exhibition and will deliver a speech on the Wednesday afternoon about the positive effect of F&P’s alternative funding services.
“Green technology is a sector that has massive growth potential, and with many SMEs struggling we want to push a very loud message that the peer-to-peer sector is often the most effective way to draw down finance,” he says.
Chief Executive of the AD & Biogas and World Biogas Expo, Charlotte Morton, says there are nearly 250 exhibitors at this year’s tradeshow: “These are the forward thinking companies,” she says. “This is the perfect opportunity for our delegates to connect with leading suppliers in the international AD & Biogas industry all under one roof.”
