TBC Uzbekistan Launches Waiting List for TBC Business, The Country’s First Fully Digital Business Banking Service

TBC Uzbekistan, the leading digital banking ecosystem in Central Asia, launched a waiting list for its upcoming new product offering, TBC Business, set to go live later this year and become the country’s first fully digital banking service for SMEs and individual entrepreneurs.

Building on its success as Uzbekistan’s first fully digital bank for consumers, TBC is expanding into the sector of SMEs and individual entrepreneurs as part of a strategy to diversify its product offering and revenue streams.

The Business Banking product suite is being developed with a goal of making banking and related financial transactions simple, user-friendly and enjoyable for small and medium-sized businesses in Uzbekistan, enabling them to take care of all of their banking needs without having to visit physical branches. With fast, paperless account opening in just 3 minutes, 24/7 payment services, and team management features, the platform will offer a seamless and efficient solution for SMEs. The early adopters who join the waiting list will benefit from 6 months of free banking services and other exclusive offers.

This move into the SME and individual entrepreneurs sector is part of TBC Uzbekistan’s ongoing drive to foster economic growth through innovation and the development of modern, customer-centric banking services in the country.

Nika Kurdiani, CEO of TBC Group operations in Uzbekistan, commented: “The launch of a waiting list for our TBC Business product reflects our commitment to providing modern and accessible digital banking solutions for customers in Uzbekistan. We are excited to be working on a new offering for business customers with a focus on smaller businesses, which are too often overlooked and underserved. We are working hard to make sure that the upcoming TBC Business services will meet the evolving needs of SMEs in Uzbekistan as they navigate this dynamic and rapidly growing economy.”

The upcoming Business Banking offering will leverage TBC Uzbekistan’s existing technological infrastructure and expertise, which has enabled the company to become a top digital banking ecosystem in the region with 16 mln unique registered users. TBC Uzbekistan includes TBC Bank Uzbekistan (TBC UZ), a mobile-only bank; Payme, a digital payments app for individuals and small businesses; and Payme nasiya (Payme instalments), a fast-growing instalment credit business.

Uzbekistan is a rapidly growing market, with a population of 37 million, of which 59% are under 30, driving significant demand for digital financial services. As the first and largest digital banking player in the country, TBC Uzbekistan is well-positioned to capitalise on Uzbekistan’s growing and digitally savvy market.
