FinTech B2B Marketing, the first global peer-to-peer community of specialist B2B Strategists and Marketers in FinTech, Financial Services, and Technology, is thrilled to kick off 2024 with a bang by announcing two stellar additions to its Advisory Board – Nim Haas and Miranda McLean.
With more than two decades experience, Miranda McLean has developed and driven marketing and communications strategies for a number of leading financial services brands, bringing a unique perspective to the Advisory Board. She was part of the founding team at Banking Circle where she spearheaded the creation and launch of the brand identity and marketing strategy that catapulted the business to award-winning, multi-million-dollar success during her 9 year tenure.
Currently CMO at LHV Bank, she has also held Marketing Strategy & Communications roles at Thomson Financial, S&P, Equifax and Reuters and is on the Executive Board of the European Women Payments Network (EWPN) as well as the Payments Association Editorial Board where she is a lead on Project ESG.
Nim has gained notable recognition in the field of marketing and communication. With over 20 years experience, her achievements include being honoured by the Holmes Report as Top 25 innovator in marketing and communication in the EMEA region. Additionally, she has been named EU’s Top 30 Most Influential Fintech Marketers, showcasing her significant influence in the fintech sector, including being listed numerous times in Innovate Finance’s global Women in Fintech Powerlist, particularly as part of the Standout 35, a select group within the powerlist.
Beyond her primary responsibilities as Global CMO at BPC, Nim actively contributes to the broader fintech and marketing community and serves as an advisor to the Global Fintech Impact Forum, as well as NextGen Payments and Regtech Forums.
“As we step into 2024, I’m delighted to welcome industry titans to the community. It’s a celebration of excellence and forward momentum for FinTech B2B Marketing,” exclaims Payal Raina, the Founder. “Nim and Miranda are powerhouses in their fields, and their energy and expertise will be instrumental as we propel our community to new global heights this year and beyond.”
Miranda McLean said: “Throughout my career I have always been committed to giving back to our community, above and beyond the ‘day job’. Joining the Advisory Board of FinTech B2B Marketing is part of that commitment – the convergence of business leaders and marketers, both from FinTech and traditional financial services, puts this community in a very strong position to foster learning, connections, and growth. I particularly look forward to bringing my experience of improving diversity and equity in the industry. This is critical to grow the FinTech community and ensure it represents and supports anyone who wants to thrive in our sector.”
“It’s an exciting time to be joining the Advisory Board of FinTech B2B Marketing. This platform offers a unique opportunity for fintech marketers to share insights, foster growth, and drive change. I’m eager to contribute my experiences and expertise as we collectively shape a more dynamic, global and inclusive FinTech community,” adds Nim Haas.
