Bitstamp’s Shadman Salem Discusses How We Can Make Crypto More Accessible
In this video, Shadman Salem, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Bitstamp, sits down for a virtual conversation with FF News’ Douglas Mackenzie about education in the cryptocurrency industry and the actions that organisations can take to make crypto more accessible to a broader audience.
“So the role we’re serving in the industry is we serve as an on and off ramp for customers. What that basically means is, we need to make it a very frictionless experience for our existing users to buy and sell crypto, but also for people who never edged with crypto before. For them, the need to be able to engage with crypto in a very safe and secure and easy way.”
“I think that’s one of the main things that we try to do when it comes to accessibility. We don’t need to have 74 complicated steps for someone to follow before they can go and buy Bitcoin. That’s not really the motive, the motive is to make things simple for people as well.
