FinTech Mistho raises EUR 3 million in Seed Round Funding
Berlin-based Open Payroll specialist Mistho has announced today that it raised EUR 3 million in a seed round funding. The funding round is led by Lightbird, with other backers including Flash Ventures, Global Founders Capital, FinVC, Nauta Capital and well-known business angels. The new funds are to be invested primarily into the further development of the product as well as the entry into several European markets, starting with UK and Germany.
Mistho Co-Founder & CEO Maximilian Czymoch is pleased about the fresh funding and looking forward to the next steps: “It is very exciting to establish the Open Payroll idea in Europe with our platform. Open Payroll is a fundamental part of the Open Finance movement and we strongly believe that consumers have the fundamental right to share their financial data directly with third parties, regardless of the systems in which this data is stored today. The liberation that Open Banking represents for the banking market is something we now want to realise with Mistho for HR and Payroll. We are convinced that in the future, decisions about individual creditworthiness will in most cases be based on first-hand financial data and not by looking at the past.”

Block Street Raises $11.5 million to Launch Monad-First Unified Liquidity Layer for Tokenized equities
Block Street, a startup building an execution and lending layer for tokenized equities, said it raised $11.5 million in strategic funding to deploy its intent/RFQ-based trading infrastructure on Monad and major EVM networks. The round was led by Hack VC with participation from Generative Venture, DWF Labs, StudioB, and Bridge34, alongside angels from fintech unicorns and operators at Jane Street, Point72 and HRT, according to the company.
Molten Ventures VCT Launches £30 Million Fundraise
In the last 18 months the VCT has reported four exits, including selling breast cancer scanner Endomag to US listed Hologic, fraud detection business Ravelin to Worldpay and retail investment platform Freetrade to IG Group. While the portfolio still contains a handful of legacy holdings, the vast majority of the VCT’s money is now in the high growth tech companies typical of Molten Ventures.
Agio Ratings Closes Funding Round to Expand Risk Management Tools for Digital Assets
Agio Ratings, the premier source of risk insights in digital assets, has closed a $6 million funding round led by AlbionVC, bringing the total raised to over $11M.
