Fintech Innovation For SME Banking Milestone

On 17-19 June 2016 simultaneously in eight wonderful cities: San Francisco, London, Paris, Brussels, Rome, Berlin, Warsaw and Istanbul, the BNP Paribas International Hackathon took place. This is an international programme, covering solutions for 15 sectors connected with banking. During the three days, the teams from all over the world wrestled with the challenge of the customer service process, competing against one another to create the game-changing solutions.

In every city the jury picked the winners in particular categories. Polish FinTech company Atsora, invited to London with its flagship product Momentum Platform, won the first prize in the category of SME banking.

The award for the Atsora is the place in the Digital Bootcamp project, providing the access to the support of experts and mentors from BNP Paribas, in order to facilitate the development of the solution. Once the project is finished, the next stage of the contest will be the Demo day-live in Paris, where the winners of each category from all of the participating cities will strive for the main prize – implementation of their solution by the BNP Paribas Group.

This is another success of the polish start-up Atsora. Previously, April 2016, the leaders of the global banking – Emirates NBD Group and Emirates Islamic Bank, recognized Atsora. They organized a FinTech Challenge in London, where Atsora won the first prize in the category of SME banking. Namely, the innovation in banking, proposed by Atsora, has a great potential at the international recognition from leading global financial institutions.
