Eric Fulwiler joins 11:FS as CMO

11:FS, the challenger firm defining and building  digitally native financial services through technology, product and design expertise, today announced the appointment of Eric Fulwiler as CMO.

Fulwiler, who will report into Group CEO David M. Brear, is a seasoned digital media and marketing strategist with a considerable track record, having most recently opened and scaled digital agency VaynerMedia’s EMEA headquarters in London to 75 people in three years.

At 11:FS he will be responsible for the strategy and execution of the firm’s media and marketing services. His appointment marks the next phase of expansion for the 11:FS Media and marketing teams as it continues to deliver chart-topping properties, such as the Fintech Insider podcast, with millions of listeners in more than 180 countries.

“I’ve been a fan and a friend since the early days of 11:FS and witnessed the success of the brand and business stem from a best-in-class approach to content-driven marketing. From the trio of podcasts, videos, blogs, and events, anything and everything the team does starts and ends with the question of “how can we add value through content or experiences?”.

It’s a big part of what drew me to the opportunity and why my perspective fits well with the team. Now I get the privilege of helping lead the next stage of its development and growth.”

The 11:FS Media team has played an integral role of the company’s success, building and supporting the evolution of the firm’s brand. 11:FS has delivered digital financial services projects for firms including NatWest’s Mettle business banking service, Standard Chartered, and other firms across Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America. It is also building its own modular banking infrastructure, 11:FS Foundry, to deliver secure, digitally native banking proposition to scale and at speed, in association with Norway’s largest bank, DNB.
