The Digital Pound Foundation to Join the Innovate Finance Community to Drive Forward the UK’s Vision for Digital Money
Innovate Finance, the industry body for and voice of UK FinTech, and the Digital Pound Foundation (DPF) have agreed to join forces, recognising the increasing impact of public debates on new forms of digital money. By bringing the DPF within the Innovate Finance community, the two organisations will advance a shared vision for developing the UK as the leading global centre for digital assets and digital money.
DPF will become an initiative within Innovate Finance with a dedicated work stream, the Digital Pound Foundation Programme, focused on digital money in both public and private forms. Innovate Finance will also establish a DPF Member Advisory Group to shape the programme with dedicated resources, supported by the wider Innovate Finance team and activities.

Gnosis has acquired Headquarters (HQ.xyz), the leading onchain business account platform, in a strategic move to accelerate its Gnosis 3.0 roadmap. The deal includes an initial investment of up to USD 8.95 million from the GnosisDAO treasury, approved through a DAO vote in January. More People Have Bank Accounts but One in Ten Have No Cash Savings, FCA Survey Reveals
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has found that one in ten people have no cash savings at all, and another 21% have less than £1,000 to draw on in an emergency. The regulator’s research also shows that one in four people in the UK have low financial resilience, meaning that they have missed payments, are struggling to keep up with commitments, or don’t have savings to help them through difficulties.
