Crypto Valley Association and Zürich Tourism Announce Strategic Partnership
The Crypto Valley Association (CVA), a leading global blockchain and cryptographic technology ecosystem, has announced a partnership with Zürich Tourism, the company responsible for raising brand awareness of the city of Zürich and surrounding region.
The partnership, agreed under a Memorandum of Understanding, aims to grow the Swiss blockchain ecosystem, attracting not only businesses related to the field, but also visitors who will benefit from the valuable experiences created by mutual events and activities.
Alexander Schell, Executive Director of the Crypto Valley Association said, “Attracting international business is a key priority for us as we continue to cement our place on the world stage as a global blockchain ecosystem. Joining forces with Zürich Tourism bolsters our commitment to promoting Switzerland as a tech hub and we believe this collaboration and support is critical as we move towards positioning Switzerland as an attractive place to do business.”
With Zurich already well-established as a global centre for banking and finance, both CVA and Zürich Tourism are dedicated to upholding and advocating the reputation of the city and its surroundings as an economic destination of choice for blockchain-related activities. The partnership will focus on developing and promoting the fields of distributed ledger and related technologies in Zürich and Switzerland.
Vanessa Reis, Relationship Manager of Zürich Tourism, said, “This partnership between the Crypto Valley Association and Zürich Tourism is crucial as we continue to promote Zürich as an innovative economic hub. The aim of the Zürich Tourism Congress Bureau is to attract international guests to Zürich for business events, and collaborations like this play a fundamental part in connecting us with key players in the blockchain space.”
