Copper.co Announces Appointment of Tim Neill as Chief Risk Officer

Copper.co, multi-award-winning provider of digital asset custody and trading infrastructure, today announces the appointment of Tim Neill as Chief Risk Officer. Tim, who will be reporting to Copper’s Chief Operating Officer, Sabrina Wilson, joins the firm from Mastercard and his appointment begins with immediate effect.

Tim has over 20 years’ experience in operations and risk, with a focus on payments, open banking, financial services and technology, latterly at Mastercard where he was Chief Risk Officer for their new payments platforms division and Head of Risk for product and engineering, covering new payments platforms, digital banking and CBDCs. Tim is a board member of Vocalink Ltd UK (a position approved by the Bank of England) and Board Trustee of Voca Pensions Ltd UK. Prior to Mastercard, Tim held a number of senior risk and operations positions at London Stock Exchange Group, Standard Chartered Bank and Deutsche Bank, amongst others.
