Citi Organizational Announcement: Head of EMEA Operations & Technology

It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Anne-Maree Tassell to the role of Head of Operations & Technology for EMEA. She will report directly to Stuart, with matrix reporting to David and Jagdish. Anne-Maree will join the EMEA Operating Committee, the UK Executive Committee, and the ICG and EI O&T management teams. She will also assume the Senior Manager responsibilities for Operations & Technology in the United Kingdom, subject to regulatory approval. Anne-Maree will transition from her current role as Head of Operations & Technology in Australia and New Zealand and start in her new role in London on October 1.

Anne-Maree will lead our regional Operations & Technology team with responsibility for cross-product and geography oversight and delivery, as well as leading our assessment and delivery of operational resilience. We shall look to Anne-Maree and her Operations & Technology Senior Leadership team in the EMEA region to ensure that we meet our goals of continuing to improve integration with our businesses, and ensuring the best possible results for our customers and clients.

Anne-Maree worked at Schroders Australia Limited from 1995 until it merged with Salomon Smith Barney Australia in 2000. She continued her career with Citigroup Global Markets in Sydney until she transferred with Global Markets to Hong Kong from 2006 to 2014. In 2014, Anne-Maree returned to Sydney and assumed a cross-franchise role providing Operations and Technology leadership for multiple products, shared services and infrastructure support for Australia and New Zealand, including delivering critical projects.

Please join us in congratulating Anne-Maree on her new responsibilities, and wishing her continued success in this new role. We would also like to thank Adela Radulescu and Ganesh Vijaypurkar who were appointed as interim heads until Anne-Maree starts.
