Checkout.com appoints Bradley Riss as Chief Commercial Officer

International online payment solutions provider Checkout.com announces the appointment of Bradley Riss as its new Chief Commercial Officer.

Based in Checkout.com’s London HQ, Riss will lead the company’s global growth strategy. His payment industry experience and knowledge of the e-commerce landscape will help more international companies to adapt their online offerings to better service their customers worldwide and process more payments.

Riss joins Checkout.com from Adyen where he served as Head of Business Development for the APAC region. He is a seasoned payment industry professional and has previously held key business development positions at Digital River and GlobalCollect. Riss also holds an MA in Business Management from the University of Edinburgh.

The opportunity to disrupt legacy payment companies and traditional banks is huge,” says Riss. “Only a few modern payment companies have built what Checkout.com has: a unified payment platform built for online commerce. By offering a consolidated payment technology stack, businesses benefit from feature parity across regions, increased processing speed, greater reliability and full data visibility. I’m excited to be a part of this team and help merchants accept more – more global payment methods, more currencies, and more customers in foreign markets – through one integration.

Guillaume Pousaz, Founder and CEO of Checkout.com says, “Bradley Riss is a key addition to our executive team. His payment industry experience and understanding of key markets will be invaluable as we continue on our ambitious growth trajectory. As CCO, Bradley will ensure that we continue to help businesses accept more payments and expand their operations internationally.”

Checkout.com processes payments in over 150 currencies for major global brands like TransferWise, Deliveroo, EasyGroup, Patreon and Samsung.
