Centtrip grows its senior management team to leverage its expertise in music and entertainment

Centtrip Music, a specialist division of treasury and international payments expert Centtrip, has announced two new promotions within its senior management team.

Simon Liddell has been promoted from his previous position of Head of Centtrip Music to Director of Music and Entertainment. In his new role, Simon will continue to build on the success of Centtrip Music by expanding the services and products across the wider entertainment sector while building on existing relationships and creating new partnerships.

Having worked in the financial sector for over twenty years, Simon has always looked for ways to empower artists and their representatives across the entertainment sector by combining his knowledge in the financial markets with an innovative and strategic approach to business management.

“It’s a hugely exciting time for Centtrip,” said Simon when asked about his new role. “The Music and Entertainment team’s growth is a reflection of our rapidly expanding client base and I cannot wait to build on our long-standing relationships and the exceptional gains over the past year.”

Freddy Greenish, who has played an integral part in building the division from its conception and launch two years ago, will take over from Simon as the Head of Centtrip Music.

Talking about his appointment, Freddy said, “It is a great honour to be appointed the Head of Centtrip Music. Our dedicated team work around the clock to support the requirements of our unique clients and I look forward to maintaining that and grow this specialist division of Centtrip in 2019.”

CEO of Centtrip Music Tony North said, “It is great to see how Centtrip Music has grown over the past two years. We have applied our in-depth knowledge and understanding of the music industry to help develop cutting-edge technology, products and services to ensure we make an even bigger difference across the sector and beyond. It should come as no surprise therefore that we are growing our talent within the team to reach more industries, build new partnerships and explore new ones with our specialist knowledge and unique technology farther afield.”

Centtrip Music was launched in 2016 to reduce the friction, headaches and costs associated with international touring with its innovative products such as an award-winning Centtrip prepaid Mastercard®.

The company now manages foreign income, expenses, international payments and financial hedging for more than 400 international and award-winning artists who now use Centtrip Music for their payments and expenditure wherever they are in the world.
