Cardstream CEO Wins MPE Influencer of the Year

Cardstream, a global independent provider of white label partner-focused payment services, announced today that its CEO, Adam Sharpe, has been awarded the prestigious title of Influencer of the Year 2021 by the Merchant Payments Ecosystem (MPE).

Adam accepted the award, expressing that “winning MPE’s public vote to become Influencer of the Year is a huge reward for the efforts and success that both Cardstream and I continue to enjoy. For the future, I am working on bringing the same values to healthcare that have worked so well for payments and commerce. The MPE Awards took place virtually this year, with the public vote for the Influencer of the Year award going to the payment provider whose contribution to the growth and development of the merchant payments industry has been outstanding during the last twelve months.

The award was presented by the chair of the judging panel, Neira Jones, introducing this year’s MPE Awards with the theme of “resilience through innovation”.  The MPE Guiding Hand statuette emphasises increasing strength and cooperation in the face of adversity.
