Bitstamp’s Aysenur Yükselal Aji On The Accessibility Of The Crypto Industry
In this video, FF News’ Douglas Mackenzie sits down for a virtual conversation with Aysenur Yükselal Aji, the Global Head of Product Marketing at Bitstamp. Aysenur gives us her insights on the current level of accessibility in the cryptocurrency sector, and the actions that can be taken to improve it.
“There are layers that we need to address. There are 3 groups, these are security, regulation and operations and I believe to address these layers, education is the key tool here. People, especially the mainstream audience, have many questions about security and regulation. We conducted a survey this year globally, and almost half of the retail audiences see crypto as less regulated than other investment tools.”
“So here, the lack of knowledge becomes apparent. At an operational level, I can’t imagine that my mom does a crypto transaction between a trading platform and a cold wallet or a defi wallet. So, to make crypto more accessible, we also must take these operations more understandable and user-friendly. People need to feel comfortable.”
