Aqilla Awarded a Place on NHS London Procurement Partnership Framework

Aqilla, the cloud-based intelligent accounting and reporting application, has today announced that it has been awarded a place on the NHS London Procurement Partnership (NHS LPP) framework for the provision of Information Management and Technology (IM&T) services. The NHS LPP works in collaboration with NHS organisations and social enterprises to make the most of the commercial size of the NHS and deliver savings and improvements to enhance patient care.

Aqilla is one of just six suppliers to be awarded a place on the Sub-Lot for finance software (Lot 4 Software/Sub-Lot 4.2), and will now be available for not just the 75 London-based NHS organisations and social enterprises, but also the whole of the UK public sector including local authorities, police, fire service and universities. NHS LPP ranked Aqilla’s bid as top ranked in the Finance Software Sub-Lot.

LLP is one of the four collaborative organisations that make up the Procurement Partnership. Aqilla successfully bid for its place on the LLP framework by demonstrating how its cloud-based platform could deliver economic, flexible accounting services.

“At Aqilla, we pride ourselves on helping customers cutting costs, and now that we are part of the framework, we can extend this help easier to organisations of both the NHS and the wider UK public sector,” commented Hugh Scantlebury, co-founder and CEO at Aqilla. “It’s an honour to have been awarded the top ranked place in the finance software Sub-Lot, and we’re looking forward to modernising more finance departments through this framework.”
