Amazon Pay Offers Citi Flex Pay

Eligible Citi credit card members can now pay over-time with Citi Flex Pay when using Amazon Pay during checkout at thousands of participating online retail sites including Jomashop, Litter-Robot by Whisker, and Fragrance.net. This is the first time Citi credit card members can use Citi Flex Pay through a digital wallet. This new payment option makes the Amazon Pay checkout experience even more convenient.

The digital wallet uses information stored in a customer’s Amazon wallet like email, shipping addresses, and payment methods, so customers never need to create a new account or remember passwords in order to checkout. With no application or additional details required, eligible Citi credit card members can check out and pay over-time in only a few steps using the Amazon Pay button.

Eligible Citi credit card members can select three- to 48-month payment plans for purchases of $50 or more. Monthly payments are included in a cardmember’s minimum monthly payment due at the end of each billing period.

From now until July 31, 2023, customers can pay 0% APR on three-, six- and 12-month installment plans using Citi Flex Pay on Amazon Pay.

Millions of customers have already used this payment option on Amazon.com and they can now benefit from using Citi Flex Pay through Amazon Pay to pay over-time at thousands of participating online retailers selling electronics, sports & fitness necessities, pet goods, and more.

For merchants, there’s no additional fee required in order to offer this payment option to their customers. Introducing Citi Flex Pay on Amazon Pay unlocks a growth opportunity for merchants to reach new customers who prefer to pay over-time.

Omar Soudodi, Director of Amazon Pay: “Customers want flexible payment options and merchants want to offer that flexibility but don’t always have the resources to do so. Introducing Citi Flex Pay on Amazon Pay is a win-win for both customers and merchants—customers have a new, convenient way to pay for their purchases and merchants can seamlessly offer new and existing customers more choice, affordability, and flexibility in how they pay.”

Sergio Zanatti, Head of U.S. Unsecured Lending at Citi: “At Citi, we are passionate about offering our customers best in class payment options so that they can pay the way they choose. We are thrilled to continue to expand our Flex Pay to Amazon Pay, providing flexibility for even more retailers and shoppers directly integrated within their checkouts.”
