Acellere partners with MSYS to expand offering into Japan

Acellere, the European software analytics leader that helps companies write better software faster, has taken a major step towards global expansion through a distribution partnership with Marubeni Information Systems Co., Ltd. (MSYS), in Japan.

Acellere is Europe’s leading player among an emerging category of cognitive code analytics scale-ups – using machine learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help companies build, maintain and extend their software systems. The company, which previously operated in stealth mode offering software quality audit services to large organizations, is led by software industry veterans Vishal Rai (ex-Infosys Technologies) and Sudarshan Bhide (ex-Cisco).

MSYS, a subsidiary of one of Japan’s top general trading houses, Marubeni Corporation, will drive Acellere’s growth in the Asian market as a certified reseller for its intelligent software analytics platform, Gamma. Gamma combines proprietary static analysis algorithms with existing data sources in the modern DevOps tool chain, to help companies deliver higher quality code to market, faster. The platform caters to an increasing demand in solutions falling into the ‘shift left’ software development movement, with businesses increasingly favoring continuous testing and continuous deployment of their technology.

Acellere’s cognitive analytics platform will solve increasingly complex problems for a buoyant Asia-Pacific (APAC) software market. Driven by increased adoption of mobility solutions, the rise of enterprise-grade Internet of Things (IoT) and the proliferation of data, Technavio predicts steady growth in IT spending through to 2021. In Japan alone, IDC expects the IT market to reach $152 bn in 2018.
