11:FS and Visa partner to spotlight regional fintech excellence in new podcast

Challenger consultancy 11:FS has launched a new podcast, Fintech Insider: Focus, in partnership with Visa.

Co-hosted by 11:FS Group CEO and Co-Founder David M. Brear alongside regional experts from Visa, the show dives into challenges, opportunities, and trends across key regions with deep insights coming from Visa’s regional co-hosts and local guests.

With the Fintech Insider podcast already reaching 180+ countries and generating 100,000+ downloads each week, the new Focus edition joins the News and Insights shows under the Fintech Insider umbrella, bringing new conversations and voices to its global audience.

Fintech is simultaneously global and local, which means founders and builders in one region can learn from developments in another, and vice versa. But these regions also face unique challenges, which impacts innovation in different ways, and Fintech Insider Focus will spotlight the people and solutions shaping the future of financial services in each location.

David M. Brear, 11:FS Group CEO and Co-Founder, said: “I’m super excited about expanding the famous Fintech Insider brand to welcome Fintech Insider: Focus. The amazing folks at Visa have enabled us to broaden our horizons and tell the stories of founders and disruptors in some really diverse markets. I can’t wait for the world to hear it!”

Dan Roesbery, Vice President, Global Fintech Partnerships at Visa, said: “We’re proud to partner with 11:FS to bring insightful and engaging fintech conversations to a global audience. Visa, 11:FS and experts across the global fintech ecosystem will explore the technologies and trends transforming payments, money movement and financial services. We’re excited to kick-off the dialogue with our friends and partners.

Episode one, released on Wednesday 18 January featuring guests from Wise and MX, posed the question: Can Open Finance ever be truly global? Episode two, releasing today at 4pm GMT, digs deeper to explore what Open Finance open data unlocks for companies and the impact it can have on people’s lives. Upcoming bi-weekly episodes look into Super Apps, financial inclusion and closing the wealth gap, and much more.
