In this video, Yannick gives his insights on the ways that AI can transform the industry of parametric insurance.
“Parametric by nature is data-driven. It’s data that actually triggers the underwriting decision, the risk assessment, the price on which the product or the embedded services are sold, and the claims. Most of the parametric products have automated triggers for claim settlement.”
“So, we’ve actually been helping our client to launch a lot of parametric solutions all across the world on both property-casualty and also I believe we launched the first life & health parametric product 3 or 4 years ago in Singapore.”
