At Finovate Europe 2023, we caught up with Victor Mithouard the Vice President of Growth for Numeral. Numeral is a platform that enables companies to send, receive and reconcile payments through their banks with a single API and dashboard.

“Today’s connectivity to tier 1 banks is still very much file-based, and that’s really a struggle for the fintechs that are used to building with APIs, who use their payment service like a microservice in the architecture. What Numeral does is bridge that gap by building deep integration into the bank’s payment systems and helping both the product and tech teams with a single API to work on, and treasury & operations teams in fintechs with a single dashboard an automated reconciliations.”

“We always admired the UK fintech market. We’re originally from continental Europe where the problem is more mainstream. We’ve seen as a company now, we can reduce integration timings by 10x with the banks.”
